Writings of Fred Schutz
Writings of Fred Schutz In 2003 (with funding support from the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation), the Central Alberta Historical Society and the Central Alberta Regional Museums Network published a collection of about 225 of Fred’s West of the Blindman columns in a book called West of the Blindman: Observations of a Half Century.
The book contains a selection of the columns under the following subject areas: People; Process: Places; Flora; Fauna; and Land and Sky. Very few copies of this edition are left.
Our goal is to compile all of Fred’s columns into an online library. We also hope to publish at least one more book of his important writings.
