Ellis Bird Farm Blog
Ellis Bird Farm will close for the season on Monday, September 5! We will be open as usual from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
From 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM, Myrna Pearman will do a presentation about backyard bird feeding. Her newest book, Backyard Bird Feeding: An Alberta Guide will be on sale (they make excellent Christmas gifts!). In celebration of fall and the arrival of Blue Jays at feeding stations, we will have a special sale on shelled and unshelled peanuts.
From 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, musical entertainment will be provided by Red Deer's Golden Music Makers.
We will also have a sale in our gift shop, and the draw for our raffle items will occur at 3:15. NOTE: due to the popularity of the quilt donated by Barb Shepherd, our first raffle sold out early. We have a second raffle, with a second quilt, on now. Any raffle tickets purchased on Closing Day will also be eligible for door prize draws!
Come celebrate the glorious summer of 2016 one last time with us!
