Ellis Bird Farm Blog
A new Young Ornithologists' workshop is starting at the Beaverhill Bird Observatory the first week of August. It is named after Geoff Holroyd to reflect the impact he has had on BBO and because his interest in birds was fostered by his days hanging out at a banding station. There are several applicants already but we would like to advertise it further than the Edmonton area. In case you know of any teens (ages 15-18) that have been hanging around the Ellis Bird Farm because of their interest in birds that might want to learn the art of banding and get immersed in bird ID, we are looking for them. They do not have to be listers or great birders- just have an interest in birds. Application form below: Right-click to save, then print.
