There are two options if you are coming from the south:
- Go north on the QE 2 or on Highway 2a to the Blackfalds turn-off. Go east on Highway #597 for 15 km, then north on Prentiss Road (RR 26-0) for 4 km.
- Go east of Red Deer on Highway 11. Turn north on Freedom Road (stay on the pavement, as it swings back to the west before going north), then west on Highway #597 and then north on Prentiss Road (RR 26-0) for 4 km. (Note: this route takes you through Red Deer, so it is quicker to follow route #1, even from the south).
