A wonderful day at Billyco Junction and Ellis Bird Farm!
Spend the morning at Billyco Junction learning about how gardens grow. Pick some vegetables and seasonal fruit. You will learn how jam is made and will be able to take home your own jar of home-made preserves. The afternoon will be spent at Ellis Bird Farm doing fun nature-related activities. Bird boxes can be built for an additional cost of $5.00 each. Cost $25.00 per child (Grandparents are free!).

9:30 to 11:30 and 1:00 - 3:00.
Ellis Bird Farm and Billyco Junction Details:
• Please arrive at Billyco Junction at 9:15 AM. Edie Biel will be there to greet you and to outline the morning’s activities. If you are unable to arrive on time, please call Edie at 403-782-4263.
• The children will have the opportunity to pick some seasonal fruits (raspberries and saskatoons for the August program!), and be able to enjoy a hands-on gardening experience. Each child will receive one jar of jam.
• You will wrap up your morning session at about 11:30 AM. You are on your own for lunch. If you wish, you can book lunch in the EBF Tea House. Please call 403-885-4477 to make your reservation. Bilyco Junction Cafe is also open for lunch.
• The afternoon session commences at 1:00 PM and goes till 3:00 PM. Please meet at the EBF Visitor Centre. You can pay for the day’s events at EBF (we accept cash, cheque, debit, credit cards). The cost is $25 per child – no cost for adults (maximum two adults per child). Your host will meet you and lead you on the afternoon’s activities.
• If you want to build a bird box, the cost is $6.00 each.
