Ellis Bird Farm welcomes tour groups to visit the site. The combination of a site visit and lunch (or afternoon tea) in our Tea House makes for an interesting, educational and enjoyable outing. We can accommodate up to 50 people per tour.

All tours must be booked in advance. The cost for tours is $2.00 per person. Allow at least two hours for a visit and lunch or afternoon tea.

Ellis Bird Farm is pleased to announce a unique opportunity for Alberta’s Garden Clubs. We are offering an in-depth Ellis Bird Farm garden tour package for garden clubs only, complete with a gift pack and lunch or afternoon tea.

The garden tours will be led by Head Gardener, Cynthia Pohl. Cynthia, a landscape designer and artist, owns Living Lands Landscape and Design. Passionate about nature and inspired by the prairies and parkland ecosystems, she utilizes indigenous species and materials in her landscape designs. She has transformed Ellis Bird Farm into a demonstration NatureScape.

 In addition to the tour, participants enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch at Ellis Bird Farm’s historic Tea House or a High Tea in the afternoon.  They will also receive a unique gift pack from EBF, including seeds harvested from the site, a book and Ellis Bird Farm souvenirs.

We can accommodate groups of 10-40 people at a cost of $35/person (lunch option) or $25/person (High Tea option)
