This week E and I came out first thing in the morning to "help" out with bottle feeding the lambs.

Though little E is no stranger to farm animals, she was very cautious around these friendly animals, and was glad that Auntie Molly was there to do the hard work. What fortune for us that E's most beloved aunt is working at EBF for the summer!

It was a beautiful summer morning for our visit and the sunshine presented a great opportunity for meeting the resident chickens, lambs and goats. 

Truly, morning is a wonderful time to visit EBF. The air is fresh and cool and the sunshine warm. It seems so quiet and peaceful, until you notice the thrumming of the many bees and other bugs, and the melodic work songs of the martins.
